• May 2005: music
for synchronized swimming in space, recorded on land but below sea
level throughout 2004 and 2005, finally exists in forms both astral
and material.
• Hi-fi Sky are currently
playing live shows; Alexandra (guitar, vocals, keyboards, theremin)
and Tim (bass, keyboards, non-sequiturs) are joined in the live band
by the extraordinary violinist-cum-keyboardist- cum-theremin master
Sam Craft.
• Hi-fi Sky the music
production team (as opposed to Hi-fi Sky the recording artists, or
novelists, or ice-cream eaters, or whatever) like to apply their feel
for texture, elegiac silliness and harmonic sweetnoise to the music
of others, or, in this case, one of their own: which is to say that
Hi-fi Sky has recently completed production on a new six-song
Alexandra Scott solo EP, SPRING, which should be available in
summer 2005.
